Romance is never easy and it is certainly very difficult at the beginning of a relationship. There is more to getting a girl to date and ultimately like you then just asking her out or being a bit flirty.

While a guy will generally assess a woman's cooking on the taste of the food, women are a bit different; they appreciate the effort. Even though we are now in the 21st century and woman and cooking are not exactly politically correct these days, men are still not expected to be great cooks. It doesn't have to be a 5 course meal complete with caviar and expensive wine, something simple but yet appealing will do the job. Even if it isn't worthy of a Michelin Star, she will recognize and appreciate the thought.

Furthermore try to have a good sense of humour with her. Women feel more relaxed when the atmosphere and situation is laid back and informal, so try to reduce her tension and make her laugh. Just always remember that there is a fine line between having a good sense of humour and being too jokey and laid back; make sure you strike a good balance between humour and seriousness. Sometimes traditionalism is the best. Some people might think that buying a girl flowers of chocolates is soppy and out of date these days but it is very much still a big part of getting a girl to like you.
